OUR PURPOSE
CAMBRIS-AF's mission is to strengthen comradeship among its members while using that shared spirit of service to support and empower communities.
The association works to promote socio-cultural development, self-sufficiency and economic empowerment, particularly among young people and local communities in Cameroon and elsewhere in Africa, while also supporting community initiatives in the United Kingdom.
Through charitable projects, fundraising, community activities and practical support, CAMBRIS-AF aims to bring people together, respond to community needs and create opportunities for meaningful and lasting positive change.

CAMBRIS-AF is proud to be founded and led by serving and veteran members of the British Armed Forces. The values that guided us in uniform are the same values that guide our work today:
Service beyond service
Our commitment to duty didn’t end when our military careers did. We simply redirected that same discipline and sense of purpose toward the communities that need it most.
Integrity
The standards of honesty and accountability instilled in us through service carry into how we operate: transparently, apolitically, and without discrimination.
Solidarity
Just as we stood together in service, we stand together now, and we stand with the communities we support in the UK and across Africa.
Our military heritage and our Cameroonian roots are not separate parts of our identity — they are woven together, and it’s that combination that shapes everything CAMBRIS-AF does.
